Our service

We are an independent insurance broker. We act on behalf of businesses to place insurance cover suitable to their needs with a range of insurers. We are an intermediary between the business insurance purchasing customer and the insurance company that chooses to offer to underwrite, or insure, the risk.

1. You provide Businessinsure with your cover details.
   We will always send you a hard copy of your insurance wording and any relevant certificates. To ensure that we provide you with the most competitive quote we can for the level of cover you are looking for, we will need a certain level of information. This information will inlcude your business name, trading address, full range of activities, current insurers, claims history over the past five years and your current sums insured.
2. Businessinsure obtain a quotation for you.
   Once we have sufficient details from you, we will then approach insurers who we feel will be able to provide you with a cheap business insurance quote for the widest cover. Whilst we cannot guarantee a fast turnaround we can usually provide quotations within one working day. More complex business insurance, commercial combined and commercial liability quotations may take more time. We are, unfortunately, tied to insurance company timescales and whilst we normally obtain quotations within the hour this is sometimes not possible. We will endeavour to provide you with quotations by return wherever possible. We will usually email a quote within the hour. If it is unlikely that we will not be able to provide a quick quotation then we will contact you and let you know when we feel a quotation will be available.
3. You accept the quotation.
   Once we have provided you with a business insurance quotation or commercial insurance quote, you will have the option of accepting this immediately. You are of course under no obligation to accept any business insurance quote that we provide to you. We do however hope that any quote that we provide to you is acceptable. You can usually accept a written business insurance quotation that we have provided over the telephone. We do however reserve the right to request a deposit payment of at least 20% by credit or debit card over the telephone.
4. We issue you policy documents, in hard copy, by post or email.
   Under the rules of the Financial Services Authority, we must provide you with written proof, in the form of a policy and schedule, of your business insurance within 30 days. We always exceed this and issue documents within 2 working days of receipt from insurers.
