To obtain cover, there are 5 easy steps.....

5 - Policy and or insurance documents are sent to you.
Once we have provided you with a business insurance quotation or business insurance quotations you will have the option of accepting the quotation of you wish. You are of course under no obligation to accept any business insurance quotation that we provide to you. We do however hope that any business insurance quotation that we provide to you is acceptable. You can usually accept a written business insurance quotation that we have provided over the telephone. We do however reserve the right to request a deposit payment of at least 10% by credit or debit card over the telephone.
1 - You provide Businessinsure with your cover details.
We will always send you a hard copy of your insurance wording and any relevant certificates.
To ensure that we provide you with the most competitive quote we can for the level of cover you are looking for, we will need a certain level of information. This information will inlcude your business name, trading address, full range of activities, current insurers, claims history over the past five years and your current sums insured.
We will always ask you to provide a fully completed proposal form or to provide written confirmation of information you have provided verbally by signing a "statement of fact" form. This will usually be required within 21 days of cover starting.
4 - You complete a proposal form.
Once we have sufficient details from you, we will then approach insurers who we feel will be able to provide you with a quotation for your business insurance. Whilst we cannot guarantee a fast turnaround we can usually provide quotations within one wroking day. More complex business insurance quotations may take three to five days. We are, unfortunately, tied to insurance company timescales and whilst we would like to obtain quotations within the hour this is usually impossible.
We will endeavour to provide you with quotations by return wherever possible. If it is unlikely that we will not be able to provide a quick quotation then we will contact you and let you know when we feel a quotation will be available.
