If you are involved in the construction industry, you will need to arrange a specialist contractors all risks insurance.
C.A.R. or contract works insurance policies cover three things. Public liability (damage to third party property or persons), Employers liability (injury, illness, disease or death to your employees) and Contract works (the physical site works until you formally hand over the contract, tools, equipment, site huts and hired in plant)

As a builder or construction company, you will be familiar with the need for public and employers liability insurance.
As part of your contract terms though, you may be responsible for the physical structure you are building or renovating until such time as the formal hand over.
